Charles Dauber Joins M&I Electric as Senior Vice President

HOUSTON, April 17, 2007—M&I Electric announced today the addition of Charles Dauber to its executive team as senior vice president. Dauber will oversee marketing and sales, new product and market development and will be responsible for the operations of the South Coast Electric Systems subsidiary.

Dauber has more than 17 years of executive management, operations, marketing, and sales management experience. He comes to M&I Electric from Nevis Networks, a 180-person network security start-up company with operations in Silicon Valley and India, where he served as the president and CEO. At Nevis, he secured more than $30 million in venture capital funding and successfully led the company’s product development and global launch. Prior to Nevis, Dauber was responsible for the successful re-positioning and re-launch of Blue Coat Systems (NASDAQ: BCSI) as the vice president of marketing, resulting in $150 million in annual new revenues. Dauber was also the CEO of a broadband services start-up company and served in management roles with Copper Mountain Networks and Teradyne.
